    3-VIEWPixx/EEG Designed for neurophysiology, cognition and psychophysics research

            The VIEWPixx /EEG is an affordable high quality display which has been optimized for triggering external data acquisition systems to precisely timed visual stimuli. The VIEWPixx /EEG features LCD glass with the fastest possible pixel response and a panel controller specifically designed for neurophysiology, cognition and psychophysics research. Our innovative scanning LED backlight design eliminates ghosting and has superior display uniformity. In addition the VIEWPixx /EEG includes 24 TTL output triggers for synchronizing external data acquisition systems such as EEG and eye trackers with microsecond precision. The triggers can also be used to initiate external stimulators such as TMS. The levels of the 24 TTL outputs are controlled by the 8-bit RGB components of the display’s top-left pixel. This strategy is simple to program with any stimulus generation software and guarantees perfect synchronization between video and external hardware.

     DLP Led Projector-
    PROPixx Projector optimized for vision researchers

The PROPixx is a unique DLP LED projector which has been designed to be the most flexible display possible for vision research. The PROPixx features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and can be driven with refresh rates up to 1440 Hz with deterministic timing. The PROPixx uses high brightness LEDs as a light source, giving a larger color gamut and much longer lifetime than halogen light sources (60,000 hrs vs 2,000 hrs). Our LEDs also support high bit depth and high frequency full color stimulation, which would not be possible with a color-wheel/halogen architecture. For stereo vision applications, our high speed circular polarizer can project stereoscopic stimuli for passive polarizing glasses at up to 400 Hz. 

The PROPixx also includes an array of peripherals which often need to be synchronized to video during an experiment. These include a stereo audio stimulator, a button box port for precise reaction-time measurement, triggers for electrophysiology and eye-tracking equipment, and even a complete analog I/O subsystem. The DATAPixx2 is a complete multi-function data and video processing USB peripheral for vision research. In addition to a dual-display video processor, the DATAPixx2 includes an array of peripherals which often need to be synchronized to video during an experiment. These include a stereo audio stimulator, a button box port for precise reaction-time measurement, triggers for electrophysiology equipment, and a complete analog I/O subsystem. Because we implemented the video controller and peripheral control on the same circuit board, you can now successfully synchronize all of your subject I/O to video refresh with microsecond precision. The DATAPixx2 video subsystem converts a dual-link DVI digital video input from the host computer (or laptop) into two dual-link DVI video outputs. The second dual-link DVI output head can show the tester a mirror of the primary display; or alternatively, the left/right halves of a wide DVI input image can be split onto the two displays, ensuring perfect frame synchronization between the left/right displays. To further support stereo applications, the DATAPixx2 also includes a standard VESA mini-DIN-3 connector to interface with stereo goggles.

The X-Rite i1Pro is a true spectrophotometer, featuring greater accuracy than tri-stimulus photometers which are based on color filters.   A new innovative Swiss-engineered design makes the i1Pro much more affordable than previous generations of spectrophotometers.

The i1Pro is a contact spectrophotometer and includes hardware for holding the sensor against the region of the display being calibrated. The i1Pro connects to your computer over a USB interface, allowing your own software to initiate automated measurements and acquire data. The DepthQ circular polarizer is driven directly by the PROPixx projector. Our custom driver ensures symmetric 50 microsecond switching times and minimal crosstalk at up to 400 FPS. Polarizer placement is straightforward. Simply place it in front of the projection lens. Passive 3D glasses are widely available in a variety of form factors, and most are 100% plastic, rendering them suitable for MRI environments. This solution is much simpler than trying to align superimposed left/right eye images, as is required when using dual projector setups.

                2-DATAPixx Toolbox Multi-platform programming APIs 
 
The DATAPixx toolbox for MATLAB is now delivered as part of a standard
Psychtoolbox download. The PsychToolbox imaging pipeline has been updated by Mario Kleiner to take advantage of the high bit depth of the DATAPixx. The library supports all of the video processing and data I/O subsystems of the DATAPixx hardware toolbox, combining the simplicity of MATLAB with the microsecond precision of the DATAPixx. 
Octave is a free open-source alternative to MATLAB. The DATAPixx toolbox for Octave is now delivered as part of a standard PsychToolbox download. The PsychToolbox imaging pipeline has been updated by Mario
Kleiner to take advantage of the high bit depth of the DATAPixx. The library supports all of the video processing and data I/O subsystems of the DATAPixx hardware toolbox, combining the simplicity and freedom of Octave with the microsecond precision of the DATAPixx. 
pypixxlib uses the object-oriented approach and strengths of Python. With pypixxlib, you can get information from and to your devices, while using
your preferred python packages for stimulus generation. pypixxlib converts your physical device into python objects with attributes matching the subsystems included in VPixx devices. This guarantees everything you attempt is executed on the subsystem you intended. We also offer a functional approach with the versatility of Python; pypixxlib includes a wrapper for our ANSI C API. Complete with full documentation and demos, pypixxlib is easy to use. 
For those who prefer the lowest-level interface possible, we provide a low-
level ANSI C API. The API even includes a detailed register map for the DATAPixx. The API has been tested under Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X, and various Ubuntu and Debian distributions.

DLP LED Projector-
    1-PROPixx Projector optimized for vision researchers with long throw lens

The PROPixx is a unique DLP LED projector which has been designed to be
the most flexible display possible for vision research. The PROPixx features a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and can be driven with refresh rates up to 1440 Hz with deterministic timing. The PROPixx uses high brightness LEDs as a light source, giving a larger color gamut and much longer lifetime than halogen light sources (60,000 hrs vs 2,000 hrs). Our LEDs also support high bit depth and high frequency full color stimulation, which would not be possible with a color-wheel/halogen architecture. For stereo vision applications, our high speed circular polarizer can project stereoscopic stimuli for passive polarizing glasses at up to 400 Hz. 

The PROPixx also includes an array of peripherals which often need to be synchronized to video during an experiment. These include a stereo audio stimulator, a button box port for precise reaction-time measurement, triggers for electrophysiology and eye-tracking equipment, and even a complete analog I/O subsystem. You can now successfully synchronize all of your subject I/O to video refresh with microsecond precision. 

The PROPixx is available with multiple projection lens options including short-throw lenses for CRT-replacement applications, and long-throw lenses for MRI/MEG applications. 

As with all VPixx Technologies products, the PROPixx is field upgradable. If you need a new feature in order to follow some exciting new direction in your research, we can develop the functionality in our labs, then email you an update for your PROPixx.

            2-SHIELDPixx Shielding enclosure for MRI, MEG, PET, EEG application

The SHIELDPixx is a complete MRI compatible shielding enclosure in which you can install multiple electronic devices so that they may be used safely in an MR room. The SHIELDPixx is optimized for reduced EMI at the frequency operation of a 1.5T, 3T or 7T scanner.

A power isolation station is also supplied with the SHIELDPixx allowing

electronics devices in the SHIELDPixx to be compatible and comply with safety standards in an MR room.
Also, the SHIELDPixx enclosure includes the StudioPRO Extender powered by Thinklogical’s®.  The StudioPRO Extender DVI Extension System transports every frame of a DVI video stream seamlessly with no compression or dropped frames.  In addition, all high speed peripherals function with no latency. Using standard SFP+ transceivers, the system uses multi-mode or single-mode fiber optic cable that allow you to place a digital monitor or projector up to 1000 meters (3280 feet) away from the controlling computer without loss of resolution.

SOUNDPixx MRI stereo sound system delivers true stereo music to the subject. Stereo sound provides a spacious feeling for the subject, which is an important factor in overcoming claustrophobia.

There are separate audio level adjustments for the subject and the speakers in the area where the technologist is located. The operator can independently control their sound level without affecting the subject sound levels. If so desired, the music can be turned off in the operator area, and only heard by the subject.
