Eye Trackers are necessary tool to record Eye Gaze and Fixation for driver/pilot training and evaluation, Neuro-Behavioral studies, attention studies, Human Factors Research, Hand-Eye coordination for Sports and Combat Training, Retail effectiveness and many other applications.

Why monitor Eye Movements? Real-time knowledge of the precise position of the eye and the pupil diameter is invaluable for a host of diagnostic and interactive applications. Neurologists, ophthalmologists, psychologists, and brain researchers use eye data to test for cognition and oculomotor characteristics and abnormalities. Monitoring where a subject is looking allows creators of consoles, cockpits, advertisements, and packaging to optimize their designs or train users more efficiently. As a control input, eye movements can be used to direct a weapon, a cursor, or a high resolution simulator inset to maximize overall system speed and utility.

ISCAN's Video Based Eye Tracking: All of ISCAN's eye tracking systems automatically recognize and track the position of eye landmarks present within
an image of a human or lower animal's eye. The eye, illuminated by a low-level infrared (IR) light, is scanned by an IR sensitive video camera. Under normal conditions, the pupil of the eye appears as a dark hole, or sink, to the illumination. This "dark pupil" image is input to a real-time eye tracking system consisting of a digital image processor that outputs pupil size and position coordinates relative to the scan of the camera. The eye image processor uses a custom integrated circuit chip set designed by ISCAN to acquire and track the "dark pupil" position even in the presence of shadows, eyelashes, or other clutter normally found in images of the eye. Crosshairs automatically center themselves over real-time video images of the eye indicating that accurate positions are computed. ISCAN's "dark pupil" tracking technique allows the system to reliably track eye position with virtually any subject. Eyeglasses or contact lenses do not normally interfere with system operation and the pupil is tracked over the full range of ambient illumination, from darkness to full sunlight.

The ETL-200P may be upgraded for binocular operation, fMRI/PET/CAT scanner compatibility and/or higher temporal tracking speeds of 500/1000 Hz.

Eye Tracker- ETL-200R Rodent Eye Tracking Laboratory: The ETL200 is designed for rat and mouse eye tracking
applications with fixed head rodents. The system measures pupil size and tracks pupil and corneal reflection landmarks, along with up to five independent optical targets, at user selectable temporal rates of 120/240 Hz. Three analog outputs, four TTL inputs and outputs, and a serial data link allow the ETL200 to be interfaced with virtually any visual stimulus and control program.

Eye Tracker- ETL-300HD Remote Eye Tracker Laboratory: The ETL300HD is a complete free head, remote, binocular eye tracking
laboratory that measures pupil sizes and point of gaze data of a human subject at a 60 Hz temporal rate. The system automatically recognizes and acquires the subject's eyes and tracks them over a range of a cubic foot, while the subject is viewing visual stimuli. The system measures pupil size, calculates point of gaze, and outputs scan path, fixation chronology and heat map data representing the subject's visual search experience. This system is ideal for market research applications, web analysis and psychovisual experiments. The ETL300HD can be upgraded to image the eye at intermediate and long ranges and track the eyes at 120/240 Hz.

Eye Tracker- ETL-400 fMRI/PET/CAT Eye Tracking Laboratory: The ETL400 is a custom built eye tracking
laboratory for human subjects specifically designed to measure pupil size and track eye movements in an fMRI, PET, or CAT scanner while the subject is viewing visual stimuli. The temporal speed of the eye tracker is 120/240 Hz and the system includes a point of gaze output superimposed on a representation of the visual stimuli.
Eye Tracker-ETL-500 Head-mounted Eye Tracking Laboratory: The ETL500 provides an unobtrusive and lightweight method to
monitor pupil size and point of gaze of human subjects in experiments that require extensive head and body movements. A monocular headset contains eye and scene imaging cameras connected to an eye tracking computer via a 25' cable. Point of gaze data is calculated at a 60 Hz temporal rate. The ETL500 may be upgraded to binocular operation and to function with a variety of head mounted displays.

Eye Tracker- ETL-600 Head and Eye Tracking Laboratory: The ETL600 tracks both the eye and head position of a human subject, using a 6 degree of position tracking sensor to monitor head movements. The system combines the subject's eye and head position
data to generate an eye and head vector that can be automatically intersected with surfaces in the subject's real world environment. The ETL600 is ideal for simulation and training experiments, and can be used in a variety of human/machine interfaces.

Eye Tracker- ETL-700 Eye and Scene Tracking Laboratory: The ETL700 is a variant on the ETL600, but instead of tracking head
position, the system tracks the subject's eye movements, calculates the point of gaze and simultaneously optically tracks objects in the subject's real world environment. The system automatically indicates if the subject is looking at a particular target in their surrounding environment, and where on that target they are looking. The ETL700 is ideal for human/machine interface in physically cramped work areas and in visual environments that closely surround the subject with displays.

OmniView Mobile Eye Tracking Laboratory: The OmniView is a mobile eye tracker specifically designed for shopping, driving,
cycling, flying and other ambulatory psychovisual data collection. The system in its standard configuration features an unobtrusive binocular eye tracking headset with a scene
camera, connected to a small lightweight custom video recording unit. All the data regarding the subject's visual and audio experience is recorded on the device and is played back to generate point of gaze output. The OmniView automatically calculates point of gaze output over the full range of the subject's depth of visual field, meaning that the point of gaze output is accurate even as the subject shifts their visual attention from objects that are near or far from them. The OmniView alternatively can be configured to transmit the eye and scene data. This system also features an unobtrusive binocular eye tracking headset with a scene camera, connected to a small lightweight TV transmitter to display the point of subject's point of gaze data in real time while performing an task. The OmniView automatically calculates point of gaze output over the full range of the subject's depth of visual field, meaning that the point of gaze output is accurate even as the subject shifts their visual attention from objects that are near or far from them. Both versions of the OmniView can be customized for use with lower primates and other animals.

VPixx Technologies Eye Tracker TRACKPixx:

Overview:

The TRACKPixx is a remote 2000 Hz eye and gaze tracking solution. The TRACKPixx offers customization potential, versatility and a large tracking range for binocular or monocular tracking. Our tracker offers zoom, focus and mechanical lens shift adjustments allowing for greater configuration options. Consequently, the TRACKPixx can be adjusted to function in most laboratory environments, regardless of the subject's distance.

TRACKPixx does not require a dedicated computer to process gaze information; the data is handled internally by the device. Eye positions can be transmitted with a digital signal, an analog signal, logged in the device for future access or through a USB interface (Windows, Mac, Linux).

The TRACKPixx video feed can be accessed directly through a console display for real-time visualization and adjustment of the tracker. A scene camera can also be connected to the tracker to monitor the experiment. These video feeds can also be accessed through a USB interface for remote control of the TRACKPixx.

The TRACKPixx also includes all DATAPixx subsystems (digital, analog and audio I/Os) which can be used to synchronize and obtain microsecond accurate time tags for responses or triggers. New eye positions are computed every 0.5 millisecond; combined with a PROPixx projector, this is a perfect and optimal combination for a gaze-contingent display.
