MRI compatible LED light sources

As additional accessories we offer MRI compatible light sources. These are based on LEDs and can be used for illumination of applications like eye-tracking or face monitoring. We have two different products: the small in-bore "MRC LED" and the long-range "MR-LED-ARRAY-18X". The in-bore "MRC LED" can be directly attached beside a camera. The long-range "MR-LED-ARRAY-18X" can be used to illuminate a scene from a distance. Please check the manuals for further information.

MRI Camera-mirror mounts

Our camera-mirror mounts are perfect for various in-bore applications. On each mount, one or two cameras can be placed behind the semi-transparent mirror. The cameras can look through the mirror and watch the subject, whereas the subject cannot see the camera behind the mirror. Thus it is possible to present a stimulus via the mirror and perform e.g. eye-tracking or face-monitoring at the same time.

We offer our camera-mirror mounts for different head coils. If your head coil is not listed in the type overview, please ask us. In many cases a solution is possible.

RESPONSEPixx /MRI

Dual handheld 2x 5-button fiber-optic response box

Overview

This is the 10-button fiber-optic version of our RESPONSEPixx line of reliable, ergonomic response boxes. The button box itself is 100% plastic and magnetically inert, making it compatible with MRI and MEG installations. A fiber-optic bundle carries the button states through the waveguide separating the magnet room from the control room. Once inside the control room, the fiber-optic signals are then converted to TTL signals. Plugging the TTL signals into a DATAPixx or PROPixx will give you microsecond-precise response times, with a reliability that exceeds USB-based response boxes. Custom configurations are available.

– TTL outputs eliminate latency inherent in USB solutions

– 100% plastic using optical fiber

– Ergonomic design

– Reliable solution records all button presses

– Custom layouts available
